MOIRA O’GRADY

A born and bred Brooklynite, Moira turned homeward in a new series of children’s books, whose pages are populated, not by humans, but by true-blue Brooklyn rabbits.  The first story, “BiBi––A Brooklyn Bunny Tale,” was inspired by the sights of her native borough, a wonderful array of pet rabbits, visits to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, and a surprising discovery about how “Coney” Island got its name.

Moira is also a ceramic artist.

BETSY WALLIN

Betsy began drawing as a child.  She loved painting murals of wild animals and sketching barns along upstate NY roads.  Her growing interest in art led her to U.C. Berkeley and an MA in Art History, as well as specialized studies in illustration at Pratt Institute.  She lives in Kinderhook, NY with her husband Brian and dog Molly.
